User Agreement

By creating a Jaagili account, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Jaagili. By registering, you confirm that you are legally permitted to enter into this agreement in your jurisdiction. Users who misrepresent their age or identity will be permanently banned.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Do not share your login credentials. Jaagili is not liable for any losses resulting from unauthorised access to your account due to your own negligence.

All information you provide must be accurate and kept up to date. False information, including fake ID documents, will result in immediate account suspension and may be reported to authorities.

3. Travel Companion Rules

As a companion or companion-seeker, you agree to:

• Meet your match at the agreed time and location
• Behave with professionalism and respect at all times
• Not use the companion feature for inappropriate personal relationships
• Communicate any changes to plans via Jaagili chat immediately
• Complete the trip confirmation on the platform upon arrival

4. Package Carrier Rules

As a package carrier or sender, you agree to:

• Only carry or send items that are legal in both origin and destination countries
• Inspect items before accepting — you are legally responsible for what you carry
• Accurately describe packages — weight, size, and contents
• Deliver items in the same condition they were received
• Confirm delivery on the platform immediately upon handover

5. Payments & Escrow

All payments are held in escrow and released only upon confirmed delivery. Disputes must be raised within 48 hours of the expected delivery or trip completion. Jaagili's decision in disputes is final.

Platform fees are deducted automatically from each transaction. Current fees are shown on the payment screen before you confirm. We reserve the right to update our fee structure with 30 days notice.

6. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited from the Jaagili platform:

• Weapons, ammunition, or explosives of any kind
• Illegal drugs or controlled substances
• Counterfeit goods or materials that infringe intellectual property
• Hazardous materials, chemicals, or biological substances
• Cash, negotiable instruments, or financial securities
• Human remains or organs
• Any item prohibited by the laws of the origin or destination country

7. Ratings & Reviews

Both parties rate each other after every completed transaction. Ratings must be honest and based solely on the experience. False or retaliatory reviews violate our community guidelines and may result in suspension. Jaagili may remove reviews that are deemed abusive or fraudulent.

8. Limitation of Liability

Jaagili is a peer-to-peer marketplace. We facilitate connections but are not a party to the agreements between companions, carriers, and senders. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jaagili is not liable for loss, damage, personal injury, or any other claim arising from interactions between users.

Our total liability to you in any circumstances is limited to the amount of fees you paid to Jaagili in the 3 months prior to the claim.

9. Termination

Jaagili may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Pending transactions will be resolved before account closure is finalized.

10. Cookie Policy

We use essential session cookies to keep you logged in and maintain platform functionality. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser, but this will prevent you from using the platform.
