- Communications — messages sent through Jaagili's built-in chat

- Match you with compatible travel companions or package carriers
- Process payments securely via our escrow system
- Verify your identity for platform safety
- Send you important service notifications (matches, payments, reviews)
- Improve our platform based on usage patterns

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in these limited circumstances:
- With your match — first name and rating only, when a trip or package request is confirmed
- Payment processors — Stripe, PayPal, or Razorpay receive only the minimum required for the transaction
- Legal obligations — when required by law or to protect user safety
- Service providers — hosting and infrastructure partners under strict data processing agreements
4. Security
We take security seriously. All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption). Payment credentials are never stored on our servers — they are tokenized by our payment providers. ID documents are stored encrypted and are only accessed by authorised verification staff.
Despite best efforts, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and enable any 2FA options we provide.
